Make smarter offers

More than a simple value total

A dynasty trade is rarely fair just because both columns add to the same number. This calculator applies contextual adjustments for quarterback scarcity, tight-end premium scoring, roster depth, team timeline, future-pick uncertainty, and the premium attached to elite consolidated assets.

01

League-aware scoring

Switch between 1QB, Superflex, and 2QB formats, then refine results with PPR and tight-end premium settings.

02

Team-direction analysis

Model whether each manager is contending, retooling, or rebuilding to account for age and draft-capital preferences.

03

Package and stud premium

Large bundles of depth pieces are discounted because roster spots are finite and elite assets are difficult to replace.

04

Editable market values

Use the starter data, enter any custom asset, or import a CSV so your calculator matches your preferred rankings.

How to use it

Evaluate a dynasty trade in four steps

  1. 1
    Configure the league

Choose format, scoring, league size, roster depth, and how aggressively to discount future picks.

  2. 2
    Add both trade packages

Search the starter library, type a custom player, or create projected rookie picks.

  3. 3
    Set each team's direction

A contender may prefer current production while a rebuilding roster usually values youth and draft capital.

  4. 4
    Review the recommendation

Use the balance score, value gap, package insight, and roster-context notes before sending the offer.

Frequently asked questions

Dynasty trade calculator FAQ

What is a dynasty trade calculator?

A dynasty trade calculator compares the long-term value of players and draft picks while accounting for league format and roster context. It is a decision aid, not a guarantee that another manager will accept an offer.

Why are quarterbacks worth more in Superflex?

Superflex and 2QB leagues allow more quarterbacks into starting lineups, which increases demand and scarcity. This calculator therefore raises quarterback values in those formats and reduces them in standard 1QB leagues.

How does tight-end premium change values?

Tight-end premium leagues award extra reception points or require additional tight-end starters. The calculator applies a moderate or strong multiplier to tight ends when TE+ or TE++ is selected.

How are future draft picks discounted?

Future selections carry time and projection uncertainty. The annual discount setting reduces picks beyond the next rookie class, while still allowing rebuilding teams to place a strategic premium on draft capital.

What is a package adjustment?

A package adjustment reflects the reality that one elite asset can be more useful than several smaller assets with the same raw total. Larger packages may consume roster spots and are harder to start every week.

Can I add players not found in the library?

Yes. Type any name, choose the position, age, and base value, then add it to a side. You can also import a complete custom CSV value set.

Are values saved?

The calculator automatically saves the current trade and custom player library in the visitor's browser using local storage. No account or server database is required.

Should I accept every trade marked fair?

No. Consider lineup needs, roster limits, injuries, league activity, playoff chances, and personal projections. A fair value score is one input in a broader dynasty decision.
